Design wall? August 2

These blocks have been on my wall since June 1st. Some of the blocks have fallen to the floor, probably in protest to my neglect.

I haven't had time to do any sewing this summer, with one exception. I did manage to finish this quilt in time to give as a wedding gift.

I love the finish you have! That is one I want to do with my scraps. And I love the pieces on the floor with the first quilt! LOL. What a great image.

I love the pinwheels - the use of value is really great! Can't wait to see it done!

I love your snowball quilt. Yep, the quilt on your design wall is definitely calling.

The wedding quilt is nice and when pieces fall on the floor, it means time to take down and either sew or put in UFO pile, at least in my sewing room.

I love your windmill blocks. What a cute border. I hope it gets to grow up to be a quilt very soon.

love the wedding quilt and the one on the wall too. When pieces fall off my wall I must pick them up quicky or the dog will try to make a nest out of them. --how little scraps of fabric can make her 50 pound body more comfy is beyond me but it must.

Your pinwheel quilt is so happy. I really like the border pieces - more on how they were done?? The wedding quilt is beautiful - what a lucky couple to receive it.

Your colors in your pinwheel is so pretty and then I saw the wedding quilt which is so soothing. I find I like them both and they are very complimentary to each other. Great projects for scrap quilts.

Both quilts are gorgeous, but I am especially partial to the bowtie blocks in the Snowball quilt . . . I never thought of using bowties from the same color family - it's really striking!

Omigosh I'm copying you--I just made a little pinwheel quiltlet with like your design wall and am in progress with bowties. Very pretty in all the blues you have made--the happy couple was lucky to receive such a lovely wedding quilt.

I Love the wedding quilt - as for the pinwheels that fell to the floor - maybe they didn't like where they were in the quilt and are looking for a new location!

I love the colours in both your quilts but I really love the blue and green in the snowball quilt. I think that's my favourite colour combination.

What a great post! LOVE the quilt but they way you pictured the blocks on the floor, what a hoot!

I love both your unfinished and finished quilts! I sometimes have to stick a pin in my design wall blocks or they fall on the floor, too.

The wedding quilt looks marvellous! I'm sure your pinwheel quilt will get the attention it deserves when you are ready. Great colours. Ann :-)
